Men's lacrosse player honored by Liberty League


Hamilton College men's lacrosse midfielder Luke Walsh '13 (Loudonville, N.Y./Shaker HS) was a Liberty League co-offensive performer of the week selection on April 4.

Walsh scored seven goals and picked up two ground balls in two games last week for Hamilton, which received votes in the Top 20 coaches poll on Monday for the second straight week.

Walsh tallied three goals in a 14-5 win against SUNY Oneonta on March 29, and added a game-high four goals in an 11-10 loss at then-No. 8 Rensselaer on Saturday. He ranks fourth on the team with 11 goals.

The Continentals (6-1 overall, 0-1 Liberty) travel to Union College for a league game on Wednesday, April 6. Hamilton returns home to Steuben Field for another league contest against Vassar College on Saturday, April 9.
