Hamilton College men's soccer player Griffin Abbott '15 (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood HS) was a NESCAC Co-Player of the Week selection on Oct. 3.

Abbott scored a goal and assisted on the game-winner in a 2-1 win at Bates College on Saturday. The game with Bates was the only one played last week by the Continentals.

Abbott's first collegiate goal gave Hamilton a 1-0 lead in the first half. He was credited with his first assist as a Continental with just 2 minutes, 18 seconds left in the second half.

Hamilton (2-4-1 overall, 1-4-1 NESCAC) hosts SUNY Oswego for a non-conference game on Tuesday, Oct. 4. The game was originally scheduled for Sept. 7. The Continentals take on Middlebury College in NESCAC action at home on Saturday, Oct. 8.
