  • Men's soccer plays to scoreless tie at Oswego

    Hamilton College tied Oswego State 0-0 in a non-conference game at Oswego's Laker Soccer Field on Sept. 14.

    The Continentals (2-0-2 overall) had seven shots in the first half, including a shot on goal by Jon Sanford '11. Hamilton continued to out shoot the Lakers (1-4-1) in the second half with shots on goal by John Marchessault '11 and Dillon Friday '12.  A shot by the Continentals' Anthony Balbo '13 hit the post in the 48th minute. Hamilton ended the second half with a shot and the team's ninth corner kick of the game.

    Hamilton had two shots in the first overtime. The Continentals dominated in the second overtime with five shots to none for the Lakers. The Continentals outshot the Lakers 24-10 and dominated in corner kicks, 11 -1. Eric Boole '13 had two saves.
