Hamilton College won six matches in three games and the Continentals breezed to an 8-1 win against the Hobart College Statesmen at Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Dec. 6.

Results

The Continentals (2-3 overall) entered the evening ranked 24th by the College Squash Association. No. 29 Hobart dropped to 3-6 this season with the loss.

Hamilton's Martin Bawden '14 was an 11-3, 11-6, 13-11 winner at the first position. Ted Black '15 was victorious at the third position (11-9, 12-10, 11-6), and Josh Wolpert '16 eased to an 11-8, 11-8, 11-6 triumph at the fourth position.

Marc Dudzik '16 won by almost identical scores to Wolpert's match (11-8, 11-8, 11-4) at the fifth position, and Mac Pivirotto '15 prevailed in three games at the sixth position (11-3, 12-10, 11-6). Peter Harrison '15 had to rally from a game down at the seventh position for his 24th career win (11-7, 9-11, 8-11, 11-8, 11-7).

Walker Lourie '15 got stronger as his three-game match at the eighth position wore on (12-10, 11-4, 11-1), and Xander Kerman '14 came back for a four-game victory at the ninth position (10-12, 11-9, 13-11, 11-6).

The Continentals host No. 23 Connecticut College and No. 40 Colgate University on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
