Nationally ranked No. 7 Middlebury College swept Hamilton College 9-0 in the NESCAC opener for both teams at Middlebury on March 10.

The Panthers (3-0 overall, 1-0 NESCAC) didn't lose a set in singles play. Matthew Billet '15 and Jon Franzel '13 were edged 9-7 in second flight doubles.

Hamilton (1-1, 0-1) played its first dual match of the spring after winning its only contest in the fall. The Continentals kick off a five-game swing in Orlando, Fla., with a match against Drew University on Tuesday, March 13, at 4 p.m.
