Men's cross country places 18th at NCAA Atlantic Regional

Hamilton College finished 18th of 40 teams at the 2011 NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Championships held at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., on Nov. 12.
James Grebey '12 was Hamilton's top finisher, placing 40th out of 272 runners on the 8-kilometer course in 26 minutes, 25.6 seconds. The winner's time was 24:41.3.
Ben Yeo '14 was next for Hamilton, finishing 70th in 26:53. Sam Dupuis '13 finished with a season-best time of 27:49.8, and Will Robertson '14 was close behind in 27:52.9. Todd Woodworth '12 rounded out the top five for the Continentals in 28:09.4.
Five nationally ranked teams competed in the race. No. 11 St. Lawrence captured the team title with 89 points and edged No. 9 SUNY Geneseo, which finished with 95. No. 13 New York University was third with 103 points, followed by No. 27 SUNY Cortland with 112 and No. 32 University of Rochester with 148. Hamilton finished with 518 team points.
