Middlebury capitalized on four of its nine power play opportunities, and goaltender Francois Bourbeau stopped 14 shots, upping his career record to 40-2-4, as the Panthers shut out the Continentals, 5-0, in ECAC East action.

Hamilton was unable to rebound from a 3-0 first period deficit in a penalty-ridden game that featured 19 total penalties. John Giannacopolous had a goal and two assists, and Ben Barnett scored twice to lead Middlebury offensively as the team extended its unbeaten streak to nine games.

Scott Grenier recorded 48 saves for Hamilton, allowing only one even-strength goal as he averaged 40 saves for the weekend.
