    Norwich scored six unanswered goals to end Hamilton's nine-game winning streak. The Cadets trailed 2-1 after one period, but rallied for the 7-2 win. Lance Harrington and Geoff Liska each led the way for Norwich with two goals and an assist and Peter McLean made 29 saves in goal.

    Norwich opened the scoring with an early goal as Liska scored off a nice feed from Mike Dyment at 2:02 of the first. Joe Baudo answered for Hamilton at 6:10 off the first to tie the score at one and Rob Rigg scored a power play tally to put the Continentals up 2-1 at 17:20 of the first. Norwich dominated play in the second, scoring goals by Mike Dyment, at 11:25, Mike Ludwar, on the power play, at 13:07, and Lance Harrington, at 19:06, to take a 4-2 lead. The Cadets also came out on fire in the third, scoring early goals by Bryce Herperger, at 3:00, and Marc Bellamare, at 3:17. Harrington added a breakaway goal at 9:37.

    Norwich improves to 11-2-0 overall and 7-1-0 in the ECAC East. Brent Davey stopped shots for Hamilton and saw his record fall to 9-1. Hamilton falls to 10-3-0 and 6-2-0 in the ECAC East.
