Norwich scored six unanswered goals to end Hamilton's nine-gamewinning streak. The Cadets trailed 2-1 after one period, but rallied for the7-2 win. Lance Harrington and Geoff Liska each led the way for Norwich with twogoals and an assist and Peter McLean made 29 saves in goal.

Norwich opened the scoring with an early goal as Liska scored off a nice feedfrom Mike Dyment at 2:02 of the first. Joe Baudo answered for Hamilton at 6:10off the first to tie the score at one and Rob Rigg scored a power play tally toput the Continentals up 2-1 at 17:20 of the first. Norwich dominated play inthe second, scoring goals by Mike Dyment, at 11:25, Mike Ludwar, on the powerplay, at 13:07, and Lance Harrington, at 19:06, to take a 4-2 lead. The Cadetsalso came out on fire in the third, scoring early goals by Bryce Herperger, at3:00, and Marc Bellamare, at 3:17. Harrington added a breakaway goal at 9:37.

Norwich improves to 11-2-0 overall and 7-1-0 in the ECAC East. Brent Daveystopped shots for Hamilton and saw his record fall to 9-1. Hamilton falls to10-3-0 and 6-2-0 in the ECAC East.
