Keith Aucoin's power-play goal with 0:49 left in the third period lifted Norwich University to a 6-6 tie with Hamilton in ECAC East ice hockey action.

Norwich capitalized on senior captain Brian Guastella's tripping penalty with 1:06 remaining in the game and also used an extra skater after pulling their goaltender, Nate Eusko, for a 6-4 power-play advantage.

The Continentals rebounded from deficits of 4-1 and 5-3 by scoring five second period goals to tie the game at five. The Buff & Blue had a 6-5 lead midway through the third period when Brian Guastella scored the go-ahead goal off of Zac Sweetland's third assist of the day. Sweetland finished the game with a goal and three assists while Guastella added two goals.

Hamilton goaltender Scott Grenier stopped 32 shots, including 18 saves during a hectic third period. Norwich goaltenders Peter MacLean and Nate Eusko combined for 21 stops.
