After a semi-formal dinner at Gabriel's Restaurant, a few of Hamilton's Program in New York City students stopped to pose in front of the fountain at Lincoln Center before enjoying an all-Beethoven program with Christoph von Dohnanyi conducting the New York Philharmonic in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center.
The evening included the Overture to Die Geschopfe des Prometheus (The Creatures of Prometheus), Op. 43; Piano Concerto No. 1in C major, Op.15 with pianist Radu Lupu; and Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67.
