The Kirkland Project's series "The Body in Question" continues with a visit to campus by poet Olga Broumas, who will give a poetry reading on Friday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m. in Dwight Lounge, Bristol Campus Center. The reading is free and open to the public.

Olga Broumas is the author of seven books of poetry, collected in RAVE: 1975-1999, and 4 books of translations of the Greek Nobel Laureate, poet Odysseas Elytis, collected in EROS, EROS, EROS, as well as a CD recording of parts of the above, called simply Olga Broumas.  She is a licensed bodywork therapist on Cape Cod, and poet-in-residence/director of creative writing at Brandeis University.

Broumas's visit is sponsored by the Kirkland Project for the Study of Gender Society and Culture and the Hamilton College Department of English.
