Sophomore D.J. Postles won the 1000 freestyleevent in a school record time of 9:45.09, helping Hamilton defeat Amherst forthe first time in school history, 141-96. Former Liverpool swimmers MarkAzzolino, a freshman, Adam Bushnoe, a junior, and JimWillson, a freshman, along with former Jamesville-Dewitt standout DanBordoni, a freshman, helped lead the team to victory.
Postles, who broke John Greene's time of 9:47.4 set in 1993,also won the 500 freestyle, and was a member on the victorious 400 freestylerelay event, along with senior Andrew Wintermuth, Bushnoe andBordoni. Wintermuth also posted victories in the 200 individualmedley and the 200 backstroke, while Bordoni placed first in the 100freestyle and second in the 200 freestyle. Bushnoe added a victory inthe 200 butterfly.
Sophomore Michael Ogurick added a victory in the 200 breastroke, andwas a member of the firs
