Rensselaer battled back from a 49-39 deficit with 10:57 remaining to stun the Continentals, 60-56. The Continentals led the entire second half until Cathy Castenson hit a jumper to put the Engineers up 56-54 with 1:27 left. Hamilton had the ball down two with the clock winding down, but a Liz Sadler jumper went in and out. Jessica Levi and Jen Moran led Hamilton with 13 points apiece.
