Leading 32-25 after the first half, Rensselaer's stingy defense took over inthe second half, forcing the Continentals to turn the ball over 35 times. Manyof Rensselaer's 29 steals came during an early second-half run that denied theBuff & Blue from any comeback as the team was outscored 41-20 in the finalframe.

Rensselaer was led offensively by Kristen Campbell's 14 points and sevenrebounds, while Cathy Casterson chipped in nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds.Senior guard Kin Herrig returned from a nagging injury to score 14points for Hamilton.
