Four second period goals propelled RIT to a victory over
Hamilton and sole possession of second-place in the ECAC Alliance West
division. RIT improves to 6-2-1 in the league, while Hamilton falls to 5-3-0.
Hamilton's Charlotte Davet opened the scoring with a breakaway goal at 7:06 of the first, giving the Continentals a 1-0 lead at the end of one. Shannon Sutton tied the game at one with a goal early in the second and the Tigers took the lead after Shelley Moore's shorthanded tally at 13:56. RIT went up 4-1 with goals 0:50 apart later in the second. Hamilton goaltender Isabel Roberts stopped all 16 shots she faced in the first and all 15 shots she saw in the third. Roberts finished with 46 saves, while RIT goaltender Lisa Sturm made 13 stops.
