Hamilton's Charlotte Davet opened the scoring with a breakaway goal at 7:06 ofthe first, giving the Continentals a 1-0 lead at the end of one. Shannon Suttontied the game at one with a goal early in the second and the Tigers took thelead after Shelley Moore's shorthanded tally at 13:56. RIT went up 4-1 withgoals 0:50 apart later in the second. Hamilton goaltender Isabel Robertsstopped all 16 shots she faced in the first and all 15 shots she saw in thethird. Roberts finished with 46 saves, while RIT goaltender Lisa Sturm made 13stops.
