Hamilton College rowed in the 2014 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta® on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia on Oct. 25.

Results

The men and women competed in a total of six races on Saturday morning and afternoon. Hamilton finished in eighth place out of 20 boats in the men's championship heavy eights with a time of 13:31.18 on the 4,000-meter course. The Continentals ended up ninth of 19 entries in the women's championship heavy eights in 14:52.27.

In the championship club eights races, the Hamilton men were 10th out of 19 boats with a time of 14:14.71, and the women finished 13th in a large, 31-boat field with a time of 16:02.35.

The Continentals took seventh place out of 16 entries in the men's college frosh/novice fours with cox in a time of 16:51.70. The women were 12th out of 21 boats in the college frosh/novice fours with cox in 18:58.45.

The rowing teams have completed the portion of their schedule. They will start racing again in March during Hamilton's Spring Break.
