Junior's Michael Schantz and Jon Schmiegel combined for 57 points and 34 rebounds, six more caroms than the entire Skidmore team, en route to Hamilton's 93-78 drubbing over the host Thoroughbreds in an Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association game on Tuesday night.

The Continentals, who led 38-33 at the half, struggled from behind the three-point line, connecting on only 1 of 16 attempts. However, the inside game dominated Skidmore, as Hamilton finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds, including 11 by Schantz. The Continentals were 24 of 33 (73.7%) from the foul line, while Skidmore was just seven of nine.

In addition to his 29 points, Schantz set a UCAA single-game record with his career-high 22 rebounds. Schmiegel added 28 points and 12 rebounds, while senior Kevin Thorpe chipped in with 13 points, including six of six from the foul line. Lamar Johnson added 10 points and five assists, while freshman Jimmy Driggs had nine points and a team,-high six assists.
