In addition to his 29 points, Schantz set a UCAA single-game record with his career-high 22 rebounds. Schmiegel added 28 points and 12 rebounds, while senior Kevin Thorpe chipped in with 13 points, including six of six from the foul line. Lamar Johnson added 10 points and five assists, while freshman Jimmy Driggs had nine points and a team,-high six assists.
