A group of 14 Hamilton students and faculty traveled to Union College on April 16 for the fifth annual celebration of Parilia, an undergraduate Classics conference sponsored by Colgate, Hamilton, Skidmore and Union.

Three sessions featured presentations by students from all four colleges. Hamilton presenters were Audrey Nebergall ’10 who spoke on "The Homeric Hymn to Demeter and Rita Dove's Mother Love: Giving Voice to the Voiceless"; Christopher Parmenter ’10, whose topic was "Myth and Status in Euripides' Medea”; and Laura Wright ’10, who presented "Translating Translation: Every Text is Influenced by Another Text."
