  • Snow Won't Offset Drought

    Observer-Dispatch

    February 22, 2000

Todd Rayne, associate professor of geology at Hamilton College, said that ground levels are low because of a year-long dry period. "It started last winter with low levels of snow, followed by an unusually dry summer and a dry fall," he said.
