Hamilton College's Amber O'Connor '09 (Pembroke, Ontario/Lawrenceville School [N.J.]) has been selected to the 2009 New England Small College Athletic Conference softball all-conference team.

O'Connor was voted to the second team at catcher for the third time in her four-year career. She is one of 22 players on the two all-conference teams.

O'Connor is tied for sixth place in the NESCAC rankings with four home runs and 10 doubles, ranks seventh with 13 stolen bases and ninth with a .596 slugging percentage. She also hit .354 (35-for-99) with 20 runs scored, 18 RBI and 59 total bases. O'Connor started all 32 games behind the plate for Hamilton (5-27 overall record).

O'Connor's 99 at-bats this year set a team single-season record. She finished her career with program records in the following categories: Hits (138), runs (81), doubles (33), stolen bases (tie, 38) and at-bats (373).
