In a match-up of Division I versus Division III, Division I St. Lawrence came out on top, 12-2, over Division III Hamilton. Jody Ward, Corrin Champagne and Kelly Usmail all had tricks to lead the Saints. Ward also added four assists. After St. Lawrence jumped ahead 2-0 midway through the first, it appeared it might be a close game as an unassisted goal by Hamilton's Amy Williams brought the Continentals within one at 15:08 of the first. That would be the closest the Continentals would get all game. St. Lawrence outshot Hamilton 53-13. The Saints picked up their first win of the season and improve to 1-6-0. Hamilton, in first place in the ECAC Alliance West Division, drops to 4-2-0.
