St. Lawrence took advantage of Hamilton foul trouble and brokethe game open in the final minutes, winning 93-77. The Saints, ranked #2 in thelatest NCAA East region poll, improves to 22-3, while Hamilton, ranked #6, dropsto 13-9.

Hamilton led for the entire first half and took a 45-41 lead to the lockerroom. The Continentals largest lead was 42-35 after a Lamar Johnson jumper with2:15 left in the first half. St. Lawrence chipped away early in the second andfinally tied the score at 56 on a jumper by Jon Bardeschewski with 13:10remaining. With 8:55 left in the game, and Hamilton down two, 63-61, center JJRaedts fouled out and just one minute later, Raedt's backup, Jon Schmiegel,also fouled out. The Saints then went on a 14-4 run to take a 77-65 lead with4:40 left and Hamilton would get no closer than eight the rest of the way. St.Lawrence enjoyed a 28-10 advantage from the free throw line.

Greg Sutton led the Saints with 23 points and Greg Acunto chipped in with 21points and 15 rebounds. Max Stroman led Hamilton with 18 points on 6-11three-point shooting.
