Two Hamilton College swimmers competed in the final two days of the 2010 NCAA Division III women’s swimming & diving championships at the University of Minnesota’s Aquatic Center in Minneapolis on March 19 and 20.

On Friday, Whitney Rosenbaum ’10 finished 18th of 32 swimmers in the 200-yard butterfly preliminary heats. Rosenbaum touched the wall in 2:06.46. She earned honorable mention All-America honors in the event at the 2009 NCAA championships.

On Saturday, Megan Gibbons ’12 finished 20th of 49 swimmers in the 100-yard freestyle preliminary heats. Gibbons clocked a time of 52.14 seconds, which was 1/100th of a second off the team record she set earlier this season at the New England Small College Athletic Conference championships.
