Two Hamilton College swimmers competed in the NCAA Division III women’s swimming & diving championships at the University of Minnesota’s Aquatic Center in Minneapolis on March 18.
 
Whitney Rosenbaum ’10 touched the wall in 58.10 seconds in the preliminary heats of the 100-yard butterfly. Rosenbaum finished in 32nd place out of 46 swimmers in the event.

Megan Gibbons ’12 set a school record with a time of 1:55.09 in the 200 freestyle preliminary heats. Gibbons' time broke the previous school record of 1:55.32 set by Mary Tripp in 2006. Gibbons now holds the school record in the 50, 100 and 200 free. She ended up 44th of 51 swimmers.

Rosenbaum competes in the 200 fly at the NCAA championships on Friday, March 19.
