The Hamilton College men's and women's track & field teams were honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on July 26 when the organization announced its 2012 Division III all-academic track & field teams.

To qualify for the honor, a program must have a cumulative team grade point average of 3.10 or better. A total of 137 women's teams and 74 men's teams received the academic honor.

Hamilton's women posted a team grade point average of 3.38 through the 2012 spring semester. The NESCAC leads all Division III conferences with nine programs on the list.

The men recorded a team grade point average of 3.18 through the 2012 spring semester. Hamilton is one of seven NESCAC men's programs on the list.
