Two Hamilton College athletes were honored by the Liberty League on Sept. 6 when the league announced its weekly award winners.
Colleen Callaghan '11 (Queensbury, N.Y./Glens Falls HS) was a field hockey co-offensive performer of the week pick and Eric Boole '13 (Medfield, Mass./Medfield HS) was a men's soccer co-defensive performer of the week selection.
Callaghan recorded three assists in Hamilton's 4-2 win against SUNY Geneseo in the 2010 opener on Saturday. The first assist moved her into first place on the program's all-time list for most in a career, and she now has 27.
Boole made six saves to preserve his sixth career shutout in Hamilton's 1-0 win against SUNY Institute of Technology in the Continentals' season opener on Thursday.
