Hamilton College's Deborah Barany '11 (Falcon Heights, Minn./Roseville Area HS) and Liz Rave '10 (Huntington, N.Y./Huntington HS) have been selected to the 2010 academic all-district women's at-large team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Barany is one of nine athletes on the District I College Division's second team, and Rave is one of 13 on the third team. The District I College Division includes all NCAA Division II and III schools located in New York and the six New England states.

To be considered for the all-academic teams, the athlete must have reached sophomore academic eligibility and have a grade point average of 3.30 or better. The at-large designation includes 13 women's sports.

Barany is the top singles player on the women's tennis team. She has a double major in mathematics and neuroscience. She posted an 11-7 singles record in 2009-10 and reached the round of 16 in the singles draw at the 2009 ITA Northeast Region championships.

Rave led the women's lacrosse team with 46 goals and was named a first team All-American in 2010. She recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She helped lead the team to an overall record of 21-1 and the 2010 NCAA Division III championships final.
