Hamilton College women's lacrosse players Meg Pengue '12 (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde HS) and Katie D'Antonio '14 (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City Senior HS) were honored by the Liberty League on April 25 when the league announced its weekly award winners.

Pengue was a co-defensive performer of the week pick for the third straight week. She posted five ground balls and five caused turnovers in three wins last week. She led a defense that allowed an average of 6 goals and 14.3 shots per game in those contests. She leads the league with 2.71 caused turnovers per game.

D'Antonio was selected rookie of the week for the second time. She recorded four assists and one draw control in three wins last week. She has 13 goals and six assists in 14 games, and has started every game this year.

Nationally ranked No. 2 Hamilton (13-1 overall) has won 11 straight games and is in first place in the league standings with a record of 6-0. The Continentals can secure their fourth league regular season title in the last five years with road wins at Skidmore College on Friday, April 29, and at Union College on Saturday, April 30.
