Hamilton College's Electra Washburn '19 (New York, N.Y./Middlesex School [Mass.]) has been selected for the 2015 NESCAC Women's Golf All-Conference Team.
2015 NESCAC Women's Golf All-Conference Team
This year marks the first time the NESCAC has sponsored an all-conference team for women's golf. Washburn was voted to the second team and was one of 11 golfers honored by the conference.
Washburn led the Continentals with an 18-hole scoring average 0f 82.11 strokes in nine rounds during the fall. She helped lead the women to the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers Invitational team title on Sept. 11.
Washburn was the medalist at SUNY Cobleskill and in the Hamilton Invitational. She tied for eighth place at the St. Lawrence University Invitational, placed eighth at the Le Moyne College Invitational and finished ninth at the NESCAC Championship, which was held at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass. Her 75 in her first collegiate round at St. Lawrence set a program scoring record for 18 holes.
