Assistant Professor of Africana Studies Nigel Westmaas published a book review in the Fall 2012 issue of the Journal of Colonialism and Colonial History.

Westmaas reviews Colin Palmer’s Cheddi Jagan and the Politics of Power: British Guiana’s struggle for independence (2010), the latest scholarship on the form and legacy of British and American intervention in pre-independence Guyana as it unfolded in the Cold War era.
