Williams, ranked 16th nationally in Division III, bounced back
from an early 3-2 deficit and rolled past Hamilton, 25-10. After a Chris
Masotto goal with 5:33 left in the first quarter, the Continentals went ahead,
3-2. But Williams scored 10 out of the next 11 goals to take a 12-4 halftime
lead and never looked back. H. Oliver Smith and Seth Low led the Ephs with five
and four goals, respectively, and John Moorhead added one goal and six assists.
John Servides and Jonathan Meyer combined to make 17 saves. For Hamilton, Jamie
Walsh had three goals and an assist and Jason Dewar also notched three goals.
Miuke Bumiller and Rob Strelick combined for 17 saves for the Continentals. The
game featured new Hamilton Head Coach Kevin Gilmartin, a 1994 Williams graduate
and lacrosse player, going against his former coach, Renzie Lamb.
