Hamilton College's Alex Rimmer '13 (Rye, N.Y./Rye HS) and Meg Alexander '15 (Wallingford, Conn./Hamden Hall Country Day School) were selected to the 2012 NESCAC Women's Soccer All-Conference Team on Nov. 8.

Rimmer, a first team selection in the Liberty League in 2009 and 2010, was placed on the all-conference second team. She is tied for fourth place in the NESCAC with eight goals and ranks sixth with 19 points. Rimmer completed her college career as the program’s all-time leader with 37 goals, and ended up in a tie for second with 81 career points.

Alexander, who also made the second team, started all 15 games on a defense that recorded five shutouts. The Continentals allowed one goal or less in 11 games.

Hamilton finished the year with an overall record of 9-5-1, and was fifth in the conference at 5-4-1. The Continentals advanced to the NESCAC championship quarterfinals for the second consecutive year after joining the conference in 2011.
