Women’s squash opens season with three weekend matches

Hamilton College dropped three matches on Nov. 16 and 17 during the opening weekend of 2012-13.
The Continentals – 15th in the College Squash Association preseason rankings – fell 9-0 to No. 10 Williams College on Friday night at Hamilton’s Little Squash Center. Hamilton traveled to Cornell University’s Belkin International Squash Courts on Saturday and lost to No. 7 Stanford University and No. 6 Cornell by 9-0 scores.
Claire Corroon '13 extended her Williams opponent to four games after winning the first at third position. Elizabeth Morris '15 also won the first game before she fell to her Williams opponent in four at the fourth position.
The Continentals (0-3 overall) are off for Thanksgiving before they hit the road for a matchup at Colgate University on Saturday, Dec. 1.
