Hamilton College’s Maggie Rosenbaum '14 (Alford, Mass./Monument Mountain Regional HS) and Diane Paverman '13 (Pleasantville, N.Y./Byram Hills HS) earned 2012-13 NESCAC women's swimming and diving honors based on their performance at the 2013 NESCAC Championship, which was held at Bowdoin College’s Leroy Greason Pool from Feb. 15 to Feb. 17.

2012-13 NESCAC women's swimming and diving all-conference team

Rosenbaum was selected the swimmer of the meet for the second year in a row after she swept all three backstroke events and set championship meet records in two of them. All athletes that place in the top three of any individual or relay event earn a spot on the all-conference team.

Rosenbaum set NESCAC, meet and pool records in the 50-yard back with a time of 25.80 seconds on Friday. On Sunday, she led off a 200 medley relay time trial with a time of 25.75 seconds in the 50 back to better her program record.

Rosenbaum set another meet and pool record in the 100 back, and qualified for the NCAA Division III championships in March with a time of 54.70 seconds on Saturday. She wrapped up the weekend with a pool record and NCAA qualifying time of 1:59.13 in the 200 back on Sunday. Rosenbaum set team records in all three events and has won all nine backstroke events in three years at the conference championship.

Paverman earned the four-year high point diver award. During the past four years, Paverman racked up more team points than any other diver at the meet. Her best finish in the 3-meter springboard was fourth in 2012 and 2013. She also took fourth place in the 1-meter board in 2010 and 2012.

Hamilton finished ninth out of 11 schools in the NESCAC championship team standings with 594 points.
