Women's Basketball Coasts to Fourth Victory
Gorman '06 Leads Hamilton with 15 Points

UTICA, N.Y. – Jessica Gorman '06 (Conway, Mass./Deerfield Academy) scored a team-high 15 points and Tricia Czeski '05 (Amsterdam, N.Y./Amsterdam) added 13 to lead Hamilton College to a 74-52 win at SUNY Institute of Technology in a non-conference women's basketball game on Jan. 9.
Hamilton improved to 4-2 overall and SUNY IT dropped to 2-6. Gorman scored nine of her 15 points on three three-point baskets. Missy Nelson '05 (Oxford, N.Y./Oxford Academy) grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds as the Continentals held an incredible 62-36 advantage on the boards. Nelson had six of Hamilton's 29 offensive rebounds.
The Continentals led just 34-29 at halftime, but outscored the Wildcats 40-23 in the second half by making 17 field goals. Both teams shot just 33 percent from the field, but Hamilton had 25 more field goal attempts than SUNY IT.
The Continentals will host SUNY Oswego in another non-conference game on Jan. 13 at 6 p.m.
