The Hamilton College women's basketball team recently received a certificate of recognition from the Oneida County Office for the Aging and Continuing Care as a 2015 Older American Awards Honoree.

Head coach Michelle Collins and women's basketball student-athletes Adrianna Pulford '15 and Rachel Fredey '15 received the award at a luncheon held at the Hart's Hill Inn in nearby Whitesboro on May 21. The team has been assisting the Office for the Aging and Continuing Care with fall and spring clean-up efforts in Oneida County.

The Continentals have appeared in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Championship each of the past two seasons. The team is tentatively scheduled to open its 2015-16 schedule against Rochester Institute of Technology at home on Nov. 20.
