Hamilton College's Madie Harlem '13 (Oneonta, N.Y./Oneonta HS) was selected a women's basketball co-rookie of the week by the Liberty League on Nov. 30 when the league announced its weekly award winners.
Harlem recorded six points, six rebounds, two assists and a game-high four steals in 22 minutes off the bench as Hamilton routed Morrisville State College 76-43 on Nov. 24. The win was the only game the Continentals played last week.
Harlem is averaging 8.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals in four games this season. Hamilton takes its 3-1 overall record to Salisbury University's Optimist Classic tournament for games on Friday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 5.
