Hamilton College's Madie Harlem '13 (Oneonta, N.Y./Oneonta HS) was selected the Liberty League women's basketball rookie of the week on Jan. 11.
Harlem received the rookie of the week award for the third time this season. She scored a game-high 16 points and grabbed six rebounds in Hamilton's 50-48 win against William Smith College in the league opener for both teams on Saturday. She scored the team's last five points in the Continentals' only game last week.
Harlem ranks seventh in the league with 12.6 points per game, ninth with 2.56 assists per game, third with 2.89 steals per game, first with a 3-point field goal percentage of .405 and sixth with 1.67 3-point field goals made per game.
Hamilton (7-2 overall) hosts nationally ranked Bowdoin College for a non-league game on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 6 p.m.
