Two Hamilton College women's basketball players were selected to the 2010 Liberty League all-league team on Feb. 25 when the league announced its end-of-season award winners.

Madie Harlem '13 (Oneonta, N.Y./Oneonta HS) was a unanimous choice for rookie of the year, and was voted to the all-league second team. Reisa Asimovic '11 (Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina/Treca Gimnazija) joined Harlem on the second team.

Harlem -- a 5-foot, 7-inch guard -- is ranked 11th in the league with 11.9 points per game and 6 rebounds per game. She is second with a 3-point field goal percentage of 38.2 percent, third with 2.33 steals per game, fifth with 1.62 3-pointers made per game and eighth with 2.58 assists per game. She was named the league's rookie of the week four times.

Asimovic averaged 9 points and 5.2 rebounds as she started all 24 games. The 5-foot-6 guard led the league with a field goal percentage of 55.6 percent, an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.25 and assists with 4.38 per game. She was also ninth in free throw percentage at 73.3 percent. She needs six assists to break the team record of 110 in a season by Dawn Roselli.

Hamilton travels to Skidmore College for the 2010 league tournament at Skidmore's Sports & Recreation Center on Friday, Feb. 26. Hamilton (15-9 overall, 8-6 Liberty) is the fourth seed and plays top-seeded Skidmore (20-4, 12-2) in the second semifinal at approximately 8 p.m.
