Hamilton College entered boats in the club fours, the collegiate fours and the collegiate eights at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Mass., on Oct. 17 and 18.

On Sunday, Hamilton finished in 20th place in the collegiate eights race with a time of 19 minutes, 18.848 seconds. Grand Valley State University took first with a time of 17:47.325. Hamilton’s finish put them ahead of five other NESCAC schools: Trinity, Colby, Wesleyan, Tufts and Middlebury.

On Saturday, Hamilton’s entry in the collegiate fours finished in 25th place in 21:30.479. Trinity College took first place with a time of 19:15.668. Hamilton also competed in the club fours race on Saturday, and finished 43rd in 22:06.373. The University of Virginia finished first in 18:45.274.

Sophie Breene '12 was coxswain for the collegiate eight. The rest of the boat included Lily Ericsson '10 at stroke, Lizzie Collins '10 in the bow seat and the following rowers (seats seven through two in descending order): Allison Boyaris '12, Erika Desmond '12, Riley Smith '12, Antonia Villa '12, Liz Ruemelin '12 and Helen Quigley '10.

Laura Boynton '12 was coxswain for the collegiate four. The rest of the boat included Kendall Scott '10 at stroke, Holly Bailey '12 in the bow seat, Spencer Gulbronson '12 in 3-seat and Eban Lewis '11 in 2-seat.

Kelsey Burke '13 was the coxswain for the club four. The rest of the boat included Rachel Johnson '13 at stroke, Katya Adair '10 in the bow seat, Bret Lineberry '11 in 3-seat and Christine Raia '10 in 2-seat.
 
Hamilton will finish its fall season at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in Philadelphia, Pa., on Oct. 24.
