Hamilton was also ranked 32nd before the 2013 NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championships, which were held at Letchworth State Park on Nov. 16. The Continentals finished in seventh place out of 38 teams in a regional that featured six nationally ranked programs. All six teams that finished ahead of Hamilton at regionals will compete in the national championships this Saturday.

Two individuals will compete in the NCAA Division III championships for the first time for the Continentals this weekend. Adrian Walsh '16 finished seventh and Sarah Ohanesian '14 was eighth out of 269 runners at the regional championships on Nov. 16.

Walsh's time of 21 minutes, 34.2 seconds at regionals is believed to be the fastest 6-kilometer performance in program history. Ohanesian set a personal best with her time of 21:35.4. Walsh and Ohanesian are the first Hamilton women in the national race since 2007.
