Williams College scored two power-play goals in the first period and the Ephs went on to a 4-1 win against visiting Hamilton College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference game at Lansing Chapin Arena on Feb. 20.

Hamilton (9-12-2 overall, 3-10-2 NESCAC) will be the eighth and final seed in the NESCAC championship tournament. The Continentals will travel to top-seeded Amherst College for a quarterfinal contest on Saturday, Feb. 28.

Williams (7-15-1, 5-9-1) added one goal in each of the final two periods for the win. Amy Allen '10 notched Hamilton's goal 10:32 into the third period for her 50th career point. Allen is second on the team with 15 goals this season. Becky Cairns '11 and Rachel Rapoza '10 were credited with the assists.

Meg Shine '10 made 32 saves in goal for the Continentals. Williams held a 36-21 advantage in shots and was 2-for-5 on the power play. Hamilton received just one power-play opportunity.

Hamilton will travel to Middlebury College on Saturday, Feb. 21, for another NESCAC contest.
