Zimmerman was one of six players voted to the second team by the nine NESCAC head coaches. She led Hamilton to a 10-14-1 overall record, including 7-9-0 in the conference, and the quarterfinals of the 2012 NESCAC championship. She was named the NESCAC player of the week on Dec. 5, 2011.

The 5-foot, 2-inch center leads the conference with 17 goals and is tied for third with 26 points. Her 17 goals are the most for the Continentals since Stephanie Miguel '11 posted 21 in 2008-09. Zimmerman is tied for fifth with five power-play goals and is tied for seventh with three game-winning tallies.

Zimmerman leads all current Hamilton players with 36 goals and 31 assists in 74 career games.
