Hamilton College’s Kayla Bettenhauser ’10 (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon HS) and Becca Green ’11 (Wynnewood, Pa./Lower Merion HS) were recognized by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association as part of the 2010 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll on August 19.
Bettenhauser graduated with a degree in sociology. Green is majoring in chemistry and pursuing a math minor. The IWLCA honored 184 student-athletes from 81 NCAA Division III institutions. All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and achieved at least junior status academically. A total of 45 honorees were members of teams that played in the 2010 NCAA tournament.
The Continentals advanced to the national championship game and finished with a record of 21-1. The 21 wins tied a team record that was originally set in 2008, when Hamilton won the national title.
