Women's soccer suffers first loss of season

Union College scored one goal in each half and handed Hamilton College a 2-0 loss in the Liberty League opener for both teams at Union's College Park on Sept. 24.
Union (6-1-0 overall) scored in the fifth minute and led 1-0 at the half. Hamilton (4-1-1) had four shots in the second half compared to Union's eight. Anne Graveley '11, Lauren Brady '14 and Alex Rimmer '12 were credited with shots on goal. Union clinched the win in the 64th minute with its second goal.
Union outshot Hamilton 12-5. Hamilton's Hailey Bobin '12 had four saves in the first half and Liza Gergenti '14 stopped one shot in the final 45 minutes.
