The Hamilton College women’s soccer team concluded its two-game weekend series Sunday afternoon with a 4-1 loss at Middlebury.

Darby Philbrick ’18 scored her third career goal late in the first half to pull the Continentals (0-4-1, 0-3-1 NESCAC) to within 3-1. Ali Clarke ’17 picked up her first point of the season by assisting on the play. Clarke now has six career assists.

Jamie Soroka scored a pair of goals in a three-minute span midway through the first half to give Middlebury (2-1-1, 1-1-1) the lead.

Rachel Cooley ’18 recorded four saves in goal for Hamilton, who outshot the host Panthers 13-12.

Hamilton continues NESCAC play next weekend with an 11:30 a.m. game at Connecticut College Saturday.
