Hamilton College dropped three matches in the CSA Team Championships Kurtz Cup "B" Division, held at Harvard University, Feb 13-15.
No. 15 Hamilton fell to No. 10 Dartmouth College on Feb. 13, 8-1. Madeleine Sullivan '09 picked up the Continentals' lone point in the loss, a 3-1 win at the sixth spot (8-9, 9-2, 10-9, 9-4).
Hamilton moved on to the consolation bracket, where the Continentals were blanked, 9-0, by No. 14 Bates College on Feb. 14.
The Continentals faced off against No. 16 George Washington University on Feb. 15 and eventually fell 6-3. Sullivan picked up a 3-0 win at the sixth spot (9-7, 9-6, 9-3). Teammates Danielle Forsyth '11 and Ashley Pardoe '09 each picked up a 3-1 win at the third and eighth positions, respectively.
Hamilton, who was competing without two of its top three players, drops to 12-10 on the season. Several Continentals will compete in the CSA Individual Championships at Williams College Feb. 27-Mar. 1.
