The Continentals' record moved to 2-1 on the season with the 8-1 victory against Tufts and the 7-2 win against Conn. College.

On Saturday against Tufts (0-3 overall), Lelia Clifford '11 and Madeleine Sullivan '09 shut out their opponents at the fourth and fifth position matches by identical scores of 9-0, 9-0, 9-0. Clifford and Sullivan also recorded three-game sweeps against Conn. College opponents.

Alyssa Bawden '12 recorded back-to-back victories this weekend for the Continentals. Bawden did not lose a game at the third position. Krissy Rubin '10 won at second position against Tufts, but lost a hard-fought five-gamer the next day against Conn. College (6-9, 3-9, 10-8, 9-1, 9-2).

At positions six through nine, Anne Edelstein '11, Jane Hannon '11, Bailey Harris '09 and Carol Lu '11 all won by default in the Tufts match. All four players notched straight-game wins against Conn. College.

The Continentals return to action on Friday, Dec. 5, when they host the three-day Hamilton Round Robin at the Little Squash Center.
