Women's squash posts 1-2 weekend

Hamilton College posted a 1-2 record in matches played at the Little Squash Center from Jan. 23 to Jan. 25.
The Continentals -- No. 16 in the latest College Squash Association team rankings -- were blanked 9-0 by No. 8 Dartmouth College on Friday and by No. 9 Williams College on Sunday. Hamilton (8-5 overall) picked up a 9-0 win by forfeit against No. 22 Northeastern University on Saturday.
Courtney Kollmer '10 gave her Dartmouth opponent a competitive match at the sixth position, but eventually lost in four games (10-8, 9-10, 9-5, 9-4). Kelly Whipple '10, Leila Clifford '11 and Madeleine Sullivan '09 each lost 3-1 as well.
Hamilton competes in the New England Small College Athletic Conference championships at Trinity College and Wesleyan University from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1. The first round opponent has not been determined.
