Hamilton College won three out of four matches played in Western Massachusetts on Jan. 16 and 17.

The Continentals -- No. 17 in the College Squash Association rankings -- cruised to 9-0 victories at No. 26 Mount Holyoke College and against No. 27 Connecticut College at Amherst College on Friday. Hamilton (6-3 overall) lost 7-2 against No. 18 Amherst and defeated No. 21 Wesleyan University by the same score at Amherst on Saturday.

Isabelle Weisman '15 and Haley Connor '18 won all four of their matches at the fifth and seventh positions, respectively. Weisman is tied for fourth place on the team's all-time list with 43 career victories. Connor's record is 7-2 this season.

Five players won three matches during the weekend, including Rachel Newman '16 at the second position, Lindsay Arader '16 (fourth), Rafiatou Ouro-Aguy '18 (sixth), Perry Von Stade '17 (eighth) and Marina Hartnick '18 (ninth). Von Stade's record improved to 6-2.

Hilary Gray '15 and Elizabeth Morris '15 split their four matches at the first and third positions, respectively. Morris is tied for eighth place on the program's career list with 41 wins.

The Continentals take on Wellesley College and Conn. College at Middlebury College on Saturday, Jan. 24. Hamilton plays Franklin & Marshall College and the hosts the following day.
